Bob is our Curator of Objects at Ionad Naomh Moluag. The book covers the history of Lismore from earliest times through to present day. It compliments previous books about Lismore such as "Lismore in Alba" and provides some useful insights into the landowners and the people.




A new book has been published by Donald Black (Former Chairman of CELM and still a Director) "Sgeul No Dha as an Lios: A Tale or Two from Lismore" . It was launched in the public hall on Lismore on the 23rd October 2006. The book is a collection of stories from the Isle of Lismore in gaelic and english. It is published by the University of Strathclyde Faculty of Education, ISBN 1900743183.

Published at the end of 2004 by Margaret Lobban: "Lachann Dubh A' Chrògain". It is a collection of songs and poetry of Lachlan Livingstone and his grandsons, bards of Mull and Lismore. The book is bilingual (gaelic and english) and translations of the songs and poems are provided, and music is provided for the songs. The book has been published by The New Iona Press, ISBN 0953893812
A CD has also been produced of some of the songs, sung by Margaret and her brother Lachlan, along with Michael Byrne, Stewart MacDonald and Margaret Nicholson
